Recapture the LOST art of HOT STONE MASSAGE

HOT STONE MASSAGE

December 10-12

January 14-16 2011

Did you know that stones have the slowest vibration of any element on Earth? Imagine the benefits of immersing yourself with this slowed-down frequency, heated to the perfect temperature of a mother's embrace, while soothing firm pressure is applied from head to toe. Hot Rock Massage not only provides intensely deep relaxation but also enables a client to enter into a deep space for healing within minutes of its application due to the physiological response of the heat. In this class we will explore the vast physiological responses taking place such as by raising the bodies temperature by 1° over an hour, 10's of 1000's of White Blood Cells are produced making this a detoxifying treatment. We will also incorporate cold stones and use contrast therapy in a gentle effective way, which can increase the blood flow by 100%; Making this work highly effective for chronic pain and injury rehab. Many styles of bodywork from subtle energy techniques such as Cranial Sacral, Chakra Balancing to Deep Tissue, Pin and Stretch and Neuromuscular Therapy compliment Hot Stone Massage. People touched by this technique value it for more than just its physical rewards; many praise it for the entire experience-A complete body, mind and spirit treatment.
