Lavish your lover with your own two hands! Drawing upon the beautiful nature of intimacy between you and your partner, you will learn basic massage techniques that are easy and effective. Emphasis is given on deep relaxation, relief for common aches and pains, and using massage as an emotional connection.
You’ll also learn proper body mechanics to use your body and hands properly so they don’t get tired quickly, and how to avoid injury. This class is taught in a comfortable setting by Erica Boulangee and Autumn Miller.
Erica Boulangée CMT
Erica Boulangée CMT is An NCBTMB-approved provider of continuing education for bodyworkers, has been studying and practicing nature-based medicine since 1996. Her studies have taken her to the Far East and throughout America and range from Native American, Chinese and Thai medicine, western science, therapeutic massage, acupuncture and herbalism. She has co-taught hundreds of students with Paul Pitchford, the author of Healing with Whole Foods, while living in-residence at Heartwood Institute. Erica teaches classes in Classical Chinese Medicine, Acupressure, Thai Massage, Trigger Point Thai, Myofascial Release and Hot Stone Massage. She is skillful at training students in good body mechanics, identifying meridians by means of touch and qi awareness.
Erica provides a lively and aware learning environment to share, engage and receive in. She is currently in private practice in Aspen, Colorado and is the owner of “Beyond Massage Aspen,” a state and nationally approved school of continuing education in Aspen, Colorado.
Autumn Miller is a licensed massage therapist/aesthetician and owner of Autumn in Aspen-Nature Spa. She is a third generation massage therapist. Autumn studied at the Utah College of Massage Therapy, the Paul Mitchell Skin Academy, as well as with her great grandmother and grandmother. She is savvy in a wide variety of massage modalities, which include; Deep Tissue, Russian Sports, Reiki, Craniosacral Therapy, Theraputic Stretching, Reflexology, and Swedish Massage.
